Why is this change being made?

nib is a well-established health insurance company in Australia not just amongst its customers but with hospitals and medical providers. By rebranding to nib, we will continue to deliver to you high value product benefits plus easier access to all the great services that nib offers like online services, claiming on the go and a community of trusted doctors and specialists through the First Choice Network providers.

Once we rebrand to nib, we will be looking at how we can provide you with more flexible benefits and additional services in your health cover, so watch this space to find out more on how our covers are changing.

Will this affect my visa?

Absolutely not, all our working visitor health covers remain compliant so there is no need to worry about your visa being impacted.

I'm an existing IMAN customer - what does this mean for me?

As an existing IMAN member, you will continue to experience a high level of service and customer support; with the additional benefits that nib brings such as access to online services, claiming on the go and a community of trusted doctors and specialists through the First Choice Network providers. The transition to nib will be happening in stages so you may still see IMAN and nib appearing together over the next few months.

Your existing customer number and IMAN card will continue to work as they currently do so there is no need to order a replacement.
