When You travel overseas privately or on business, we will credit you for the cost of your IMAN/AHP Plan for the time you are outside Australia, for up to 10 weeks on any one trip.
There is no benefit under your IMAN/AHP Plan for medical or travel costs incurred outside Australia. The cost you save can go towards an overseas travel policy.
To claim please send us a copy of your Travel Agent's itinerary or airline tickets prior to travel.
Important Warning
If you purchase an overseas travel policy through a travel agent, or rely on your credit card cover or employers corporate travel cover be sure to read the fine print very carefully. Most of these policies offer overseas cover for Permanent Residents of Australia. As a 457 visa holder you are not covered and any claim will be rejected. Check with your Sponsor to ensure their corporate travel policy covers 457 visa holders.
